FOREST SCHOOL BIRTHDAY PARTIES
If your child loves outdoor education, they will thoroughly enjoy the chance to share a bespoke Forest School experience with their friends to celebrate their birthday! During the session they will get the chance to engage in a range of activities, such as using tools to make a craft item to take home, and building a connection with nature through exploring and playing Forest School games!
Covid-19
We are following the Covid-19 reopening guidance and have taken precautionary measures such as adding an extra hand washing station, plus 2 hand sanitiser stations. Group sizes can be no larger than 15 children. As we are in an outdoor setting, distancing will happen more naturally as children explore the site and play, plus the chance of transmission is greatly reduced outdoors. No more than 5 adults will be able to accompany the group on site.

Sessions take place at our site in Meare, Glastonbury.
Party sessions are 2 and half hours, running either:
11am -1.30pm
11.30 am - 2pm
3pm – 5.30pm (late spring/summer only)
Minimum group size is 8, maximum 15. The cost is £15 per head.
Kit List
To take part in a session, all children must wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors that can get muddy/dirty:
·sturdy waterproof boots/wellies in wet weather, trainers are ok in the summer.
·long-sleeved hoodie/sweatshirt/jumper over a t-shirt.
·long trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (shorts are fine in warm weather).
·waterproof coat (waterproof trousers/dungarees if possible) in wet weather.
·hat and gloves if the weather is cold!
·a spare set of clothing for your child in a named bag or packed into their rucksack.
Food
Please ask the children to bring a drinks bottle, that can be refilled if necessary, there is drinking water on site
Lunch will be provided as part of the package and will consist of pizza wraps cooked over the campfire. Children can select their toppings from the following options:
Tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, pepperoni, pineapple, sweetcorn, olives, mushrooms.
(If there is something the birthday boy/girl would like that is not on the list, please just let me know!)
Dietary requirements/allergies to be listed on the consent forms.
Consent Forms
Parents/carers of all children attending the party will need to complete a consent form. These can be edited and returned by email or printed and brought to the session.
