Our site is a beautiful wild garden behind what used to be the Ring O’Bells pub in Meare, with a farm on one side, backing on to the River Brue. The garden is lush with grasses and walnut, birch, elder and apple trees dotted along. Base camp is a shelter made from reclaimed telegraph poles over a fire pit with split log benches for seating. We have a fantastic mud kitchen, a workshop area and dens. There is also a beautiful compost loo! During the session your child will get the chance to use tools, learn about the safe lighting of fires, build a connection with nature through exploring and play Forest School games!
